Get Your TREATS On! {Celebrate At Disney!}

Whether you are in the parks or getting envious over other people's adventures over Instagram, the "Get Your Ears On" celebration at Disney is giving me all the party feels! From cute decorations to new and fun merchandise, this celebration will definitely keep you busy and your wallet empty.

I'm sure if you have been to any celebration or festival at a Disney park, you know that the food life is becoming quite the cult life. Everyone is becoming a foodie and not a single person is upset about it. Honestly there are just way too many options and there are not enough people documenting all the food available to us. Seriously! Not a day goes by that I don't find a new treat in my feed that I want to try when I get to the parks next! So I am here to toss my hat into the ring with the help of my friend, Ashley!

So a little bit about me and my personal preferences: I don't have a sweet tooth in the slightest, and a lot of the yummiest treats and beverages to date are just too sweet or too big for me to eat on my own. So Ashley and I decided to split a treat  and even then we didn't even finish it! But don't worry, it wasn't for lack of trying! ;D

This treat is called the Birthday Hat Macaron and it was found in Cars Land at the Cozy Cone Motel - Cone 4 as one of their Seasonal Offerings (I'm not sure if it can be found in any of the other Disney parks unfortunately!). It was $5.99, and remember that there are no annual passholder discount opportunities at any of the Cozy Cones! If you have a sweet tooth then this will definitely tickle your tastebuds! It tasted like classic birthday cake with a slight taste of cotton candy. If you are familiar with how the Confetti Cupcake Pop Tarts tastes like, it actually tastes exactly like that! But to sum it up in three words: It. Was. Delicious!!

It is perfect for cute little pictures, but eater beware! As soon as you take your first bite, be prepared for a small mess - so definitely get your pictures in before you start nomming away! I would 100% recommend eating this with a fork or at the very least over a plate or napkin. We definitely learned our lesson the hard way! But that's not to say that we didn't get a few funny pictures out of it and that alone made the mess worth it.

       Ashley and Donna try the Birthday Hat Macaron in Cars Land. It was delicious and messy but definitely worth every bite!      Ashley and Donna try the Birthday Hat Macaron in Disney's California Adventure as a part of the Get Your Ears Celebration taking place in the parks to honor the ninety years of the mice that started it all - Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

I have never had a macaron before and this did not disappoint my first experience. Obviously it was aesthetically pleasing, but what made my experience that more memorable was the fact that I got to share it with my best friend. We ate it over some good conversation, had a few laughs about the continued mess we made, and just sat and enjoyed each other's company as well as the sounds of Cars Land. I couldn't have asked for a better way to get my treats on and this really makes me want to continue trying the seasonal snacks of Disney.

If you haven't been to the Get Your Ears On Celebration yet, I highly recommend it! Become a foodie yourself, or have fun enjoying the decorations, the special celebration entertainment, or treat yourself to exclusive merchandise. Whatever you may decide to do, there are plenty of options for everyone's preferences!
